Monday 7th December, 2015

Jimmy Eadie is to become Crash Ensemble’s first Creative Partner.

Jimmy will be the first in a series of Creative Partners, who will work with us to bring their skills, knowledge and drive to fulfilling our ambitions over the next few years.

A founding member of the ensemble, he has been instrumental to the group’s sound over the last 18 years.

From Jimmy - “It has been an amazing 18 years working with the Crash Ensemble as Front of House Engineer, some memorable moments for me over this time; First performance of Junk Box by Donnacha, Aria 51 by John Godfrey, a keyboard performance of ik-ook by Philip Glass performed by David Adams, Zack Browning, sole injection - performed by Brona Cahill, Stockhausen - Gesang der Junglinge - at the project Mint, Gavin Bryars -Jesus Blood. Terry Riley in a small church in Drogheda, Phil Niblock..loud and unique.... Finally playing a show in Carnegie Hall. Thank you Crash Ensemble, for all the amazing music, laughs, and pure craic... I'm sure we will have many more. I look forward to contributing to Crash in my new role and remaining part of such an amazing group."
