ESB Dublin Fringe Festival 2003

As part of the ESB Dublin Fringe Festival 2003, Crash performed at the famous Spiegeltent on Wolfe Tone Square. From the relentlessly pounding madcap rhythms of Donnacha Dennehy's Paddy through the giddy carrying-on of Tom Johnson's Naryana Cows to the deliciously ominous funk of Cheating, Lying Stealing by Bang On A Can's David Lang, this programme hit all the sweet spots in typical driving Crash style. It included classics from Philip Glass (in ferociously energetic mode) and Gavin Bryars (in a more ambient mood), and a world premiere of Four Movements for Drum Kit and Piano by exciting young Dublin composer, Brian Bolger
